Build Your Future as an Industrial Pipefitter

At Condustrial, we don’t just care about a company’s bottom line — we care about you. Our mission is to help skilled professionals like you find meaningful, long-term careers that make a difference. Right now, we’re helping one of our national partners ramp up a major water treatment project, and we’re looking for experienced pipefitters ready to hit the ground running.
Why Choose a Career in Industrial Pipefitting
Industrial pipefitters play a critical role in today’s infrastructure — from manufacturing and power plants to water and wastewater treatment facilities. These professionals assemble, install, and maintain the piping systems that keep our communities running.
With the rapid expansion of water treatment and sustainability projects, pipefitters specializing in mechanical process piping are in higher demand than ever. This work isn’t just a job — it’s a career path that combines technical precision, teamwork, and purpose.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our current project focuses on mechanical process piping for a large-scale water treatment upgrade. You’ll be:
- Installing large-diameter mechanical PVC pipe
- Performing mechanical process installations (no welding required)
- Handling bolt-up fitting and mechanical joint assembly
- Hanging pipe from ceilings or threading into pipe stands
- Following drawings or supervisor layouts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
This hands-on work directly supports clean water initiatives — a vital part of environmental and community health.
Education and Training
While some pipefitters learn entirely through on-the-job training, most successful professionals complete a technical program or apprenticeship.
Key educational paths include:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Vocational or technical school coursework in plumbing, mechanics, or pipefitting
- Apprenticeships combining classroom instruction with 2,000+ hours of paid field training
- Optional certifications such as OSHA safety training, CPR/First Aid, or backflow prevention can also strengthen your résumé.
At Condustrial, our recruiters can help connect you with employers who value your experience and support continued skill development.
How to Get Started
If you have:
- 5+ years of pipefitting or pipelaying experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and PVC pipe installation
- Experience in water/wastewater or heavy industrial environments
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to safety
Then you’re already well on your way. This full-time position starts at $28/hour and increases depending on experience, with health benefits and potential for long-term projects.
If this sounds like a fit, text or call 470-201-8685 — we’d love to tell you more and help you take the next step toward a fulfilling career.
Job Outlook
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for pipefitters and steamfitters is projected to grow steadily through 2033, driven by:
- Increased demand for water infrastructure upgrades
- Ongoing industrial expansion and facility modernization
- Rising investment in environmental sustainability and water quality improvement
This is a career with stability, growth, and a clear path to advancement.
